Additional Transformers Optimus Prime 20th Anniversary Figure Information

This is a must-have item for all true Transformer fans. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of transformers, the ultimate Optimus Prime is being released. Based on the original comic book and TV animation of Optimus Prime in 1984, this 20th anniversary figure has everything a collector could ever want. This deluxe version of the Autobot leader features die-cast parts, rubber tires, spring-loaded suspension, light-up matrix annex and superbly detailed articulation. Includes removable hands, interchangeable weapons and "transforms" into the classic semi-truck. Plus, this incredible collectible comes equipped with a Megatron Pistol that disassembles like G1 Megatron, Energon axe that attaches to his arm, Iron Blaster, the original Optimus prime weapon and a removable Autobot matrix of leadership. Optimus measures approximately 12" tall in robot mode.

What Customers Say About Transformers Optimus Prime 20th Anniversary Figure:

This Optimus Prime Toy figure is amazing. Anyways it is a great product and I would reccommend buying it. The hinges in his ankles and elbows are hidden with fake "hyrdraulics" which move as you move the joints.

I bought a few different toys through a store I found on google called [.]. The detailing and construction of this toy are nearly top-notch. The details are incredible and for the price they are worth it.

His front wheels are hidden when in Robot mode (unlike the original toy) to make him look even more like the G1 Cartoon Prime. that linked me to this page. The Robot mode of this Optimus is amazing, the articulation is very good.

A lot of diecast parts and the more moveable parts are from plastic. A+ to Amazon once again.

I got my 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime yesterday, and was surprised by the size and weight of Optimus. If you don't have this toy, -buy it. It can withstand some abuse and force.

The paint was inaccurate some places. Who that man is, i don't know, but it's not Peter Cullen.I wanted to buy the Masterpiece Convoy, but it was too expensive, so I bought this one instead. Wow.Mine had some flaws though.

The plaque/stand with voice-sequences is nice to look at, but is kind of embarrising to listen to. Looks like someone painted him in a hurry. It wasn't as difficult to transform as I thought.

I'm happy with the purchase, but will buy aftermarket long chrome-smokestacks. It looks good on my book-shelf, i'll bet it will on yours too.Overall, the figure i nice, big, heavy and awesome.

All his joints feature hydraulic moving parts that just compliment the overall design. Overall the figure is awesome, all his weapons look great but unfortunately his Blue (should be black) ion cannon cannot be held with a firm grip and you will find yourself having a hard time placing it in his hands. The truck mode is very realistic from the windows all the way to the shock absorbing rubber wheels. The transformation is engaging and challenging and will take you more then ten minutes your first time through. This truly is the perfect Optimus Prime Figure. this is simply ridicules. While it is hard to break him you need to understand that this is a very precious toy and that his joints will come loose or he will break if not handled with care. Thoroughly detailed, his innards are fascinating to say the least, the button on his should enables you to ignite the Matrix to recreate scenes from the Transformers movie (1986)This is definitely not something that should not be thrown around by small children and should be played with by collectors or younger people who understand how valuable the toys actually is.

But what is a huge disappointment is the price on what Amazon has put on this guy. He comes with three weapons: Megatron in blaster mode, an energy axe, and his traditional Ion Canon. Replicating the look of the original Prime right down to the little details is simply astounding. His overall color is slightly orange but it is not a distraction. His head moves smoothly and you can move his mouth up and down to simulate as if he is actually talking. He also comes with a stand that makes several commands, but unfortunately these commands are not read by Peter Cullen :( Definitely one of the coolest aspects about this figure is the ability to open his chest to reveal a glowing Autobot Matrix. When i bought him on Amazon he was around $60, now he's $130. This toy truly is the perfect item in any transformers collection, but try looking for him on ebay, seriously don't spend more than $70 on this guy.

it's the biggest, baddest transformers ever. if you're into transformers, just get it as you will not be disappointed.

You have to buy one. It weighs alot more than Masterpiece Megatron. It is a true masterpiece for your collection. I like it because of the Autobot Matrix of Leadership he comes with. If you can, go on Ebay and you can find a trailer for him from Justittoys to tow in truck mode (It doesn't turn into the base). But still you got to get one.
